Provocative post, Mark. Thank you for sharing. Although we are seeing patients using social media everywhere, Asperger's is a uniquely interesting example. In most cases, patients use social media improve their knowledge about other peoples' opinions, experiences, and perspectives. With Asperger's it may be possible for patients to use social media to improve HOW they learn. The communication skills that are so important in our daily lives can be honed through online interaction. It will be interesting to see if any companies respond to the opportunity to help the Asperger's community here.
