Facebook Updates Notes

Posted by: in Social Media Insights & Trends on November 9, 2011

Facebook has recently announced that they will stop the feature that automatically imports blog posts into Notes. This will go into effect on November 22. You may not be aware of this change, unless you currently import your blog into your Facebook Notes. If you do, you’ll see a notification at the top of your own page.

Just another Facebook dodge-and-weave that users and companies will need to adjust to. Also remember that Facebook will be stopping all support for non-HTTPS custom tabs after November 15. That means that if your brand Page currently utilizes custom tabs and doesn’t support HTTPS, then those users who do have that “secure browsing” security turned on will no longer be able to view them.
