Introducing W2O Group
I am excited about formally announcing the creation of W2O Group, which will become the newly-formed parent company of WCG and two new firms, Twist and W2O Ventures. This network of complementary independent companies will offer integrated communications, business and technology solutions and the best teams to diverse organizations in industries ranging from healthcare to consumer goods, entertainment, automotive, aviation and technology.
We are now made up of the following:
- W2O group is a small group of leaders who oversee all we do. It’s the parent of all of our companies, now and in the future. Bob Pearson, formerly WCG’s Chief Media and Technology Officer, who has played an integral role in the growth and evolution of the firm over the past three years, has been appointed President of W2O Group. I look forward to working closely with Bob as I have over the last few years to continue to evolve W2O.
- WCG is the firm that you have known for 10+ years. Nothing has changed. Our commitment to you is as strong as ever.
- Twist is our new firm that begins its first day with 45+ team members. Twist will chart its own course in the world of communications and marketing, while benefitting from all of our learnings. This will be led by my long-time colleague, Jennifer Gottlieb, who helped build WCG into one of the leading independent PR firms.
- W2O Ventures is a new team that will build out new products, services, offerings and companies that benefit all of our clients. This will be led by Paulo Simas who joined our crew when we acquired design and advertising firm, ODA, a few years ago.
In addition to diversified, A-plus talent and clients who want to partner to innovate and drive their business in new ways, an essential common denominator to the company’s growth and W2O Group companies going forward is creating and utilizing customized and proprietary analytics in defining organizational issues and uncovering marketplace opportunities. In addition, the companies’ professionals translate and at times transform those analytics into engaging content that hits audiences from every angle – compelling, actionable, measurable and at times just plain eye-opening content.
