That’s a Wrap – Texas Hospital Association Health Care Social Media Summit

Posted by: in Austin Social Media, Healthcare Insights, Social Media Insights & Trends on August 13, 2012

I must say that even though I didn’t actually attend the festivities, I thoroughly enjoyed the engagement and interaction surrounding the 2012 Texas Hospital Association’s Health Care Social Media Summit (#HCSMTX).  You can read about WCG’s contributions to the summit (in 3 blog posts and an interactive map of every Texas hospital).  As a quick wrap-up of the event:

  • Nearly 1,000 tweets were generated around the Summit’s hashtag (#HCSMTX)
  • You can check out the most active participants here, at Symplur’s Healthcare Hashtag page
  • Through the course of the conference, there were 72 unique links shared

The top 10 domains linked to during the conference were as follows:

wcgworld.com 58
tha.org 45
youtube.com 33
twitter.com 31
social-media-university-global.org 13
amazon.com 11
reedtsmith.com 11
instagram.com 10
ebennett.org 9
mayoclinic.org 6
33charts.com 5

Lastly, thanks to the brilliant (and free) solution called readlists, you can download your own ebook (PDF, Kindle or Apple iBook format) containing every shared link – including some fun photos and videos.  you can link to the download page here, or just enjoy the version below:
