Our New Strategic Partner – Big Valley Marketing

It’s our nature as entrepreneurs to keep asking how we can do things differently.  There is always a way to evolve the current model and create value for our clients and our firm.  A quest that never ends.

Our innovation at W2O Group is most often centered on new models, products or services that create a unique advantage for our clients, whether we do that directly through our firms or with like-minded entrepreneurs and channel partners that share our mission and mindset.

Today, we’re announcing a way to continue to expand our reach in the Technology business sector and enable one of our colleagues Tim Marklein to pursue his entrepreneurial dream to open his own firm.

Tim, as you know, has grown up in the world of Technology from being in-house at HP or with us building and transforming W2O Group for the past few years.  And, he has always been focused on how metrics, measurement and analytics can make a difference.  Technology and analytics are in Tim’s DNA, so to speak, much like they are in ours.

So is a desire to create a new firm from scratch, which is why he is creating his own called Big Valley Marketing (located in Silicon Valley), to provide marketing services to the world’s technology businesses.

We look at this in the most simple way.  The technology industry is at least $3 trillion in size or larger — more than enough to have our full attention — and the “Valley” is “Big” enough for all of us.  So we have decided to become strategic partners and come out of the gate with a full offering so Big Valley Marketing will be able to leverage any of W2O Group’s products and services, which Tim knows quite well from his time here, yet he’ll have the ability to build his own firm.  And we’ll work together on clients right away.

As Jim often says to those who join and leave us, “we’re hard to shake.”  This initiative aligns with our philosophy and approach to create a “liquid” collaborative entrepreneurial community that serves and innovates for and with the industry’s most exciting and promising Technology companies.  It’s also in that spirit that we’re pleased to be partnering with Tim to create what’s next for him, us and our clients.
