“A company like Mastercard, those that have had 40 plus years in this space, know a couple of things: It’s about security, acceptance, the ability to go from beyond a cup of coffee, to trusting your entire payments to manage your life, to being able to do it with confidence around the world and know that there is infrastructure, regulation, safety, security and amazing experiences for what you want to do. Those that innovate for the sake of innovation, looking for a solution, probably won’t last.”
